Most everyone in the Imperial Valley felt an earthquake shortly after noon today.
According to the Southern California Earthquake Data Center , at 12:19 p.m. a magnitude 4.8 earthquake was reported with an epicenter near Guadalupe Victoria , Baja California , Mexico. The first temblor was followed about 6 minutes later by a magnitude 3.3 earthquake emanating from the same area. There are no initial reports of injuries or damage.
