(Woolsey Fire Update)…The latest report was issued Wednesday morning.

Officials said the fire was now 47 percent contained. It has burned over 97,600 acres and destroyed 483 structures and damaged 86 others. 57,000 structures are still threatened by the fire. Officials say 3 firefighters have been injured combating the blaze. There have been two civilian fatalities. The fire has been burning in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties since November 8th. An Imperial County Strike Team, that includes an engine and crew from Yuma, are among the over 3,600 firefighters help to combat the blaze. The cause of the fire has still not been determined.
