(Board of Supervisors approve Benefit funding)…The Board Tuesday accepted the recommendations presented

. The recommendations came from the Community Benefit Advisory Committee from several applications received since last January. It was agreed ahead of time that phase 2 of the funding would total $1 million. Most applicants received less than what they had requested. The funds were split in categories, Community and Economic Development. Community Services and Wildlife and Habitat. The funds are being distributed as grants, except one project which is receiving a $150,000 loan.
