(Earthquake Swarm)….They are not unusual for this area.
The latest swarm has hit in Riverside County, in the desert community of Aguanga, about 20 miles east of Temecula. The most significant temblor in the swarm measured 4.4 and struck Tuesday at around 5:25 pm. Earlier there had been a magnitude 3.0. Another magnitude 3.0 was recorded early Wednesday morning. In between there have been hundreds of micro-quakes, measuring 2.9 and below. No damage or injury has been reported from any of the quakes.
