(Summer heat taking a toll)…Heat related deaths on the increase
. So far this there have been 12 heat related deaths, surpassing last years total. There is still over a month of temperatures exceeding the 100-degree plus range. The National Weather Service says another excessive heat warning is in effect Monday and Tuesday. After that temperatures could lower to near normal ranges. Moisture is expected to return by mid-week, increasing the humidity levels and increasing chances for storms and thunderstorms.
