The suit had been filed against Bornt and Sons Incorporated out of Holtville and Barras a Farm Services with offices in Cal patria and Holtville. The Class action lawsuit alleged sexual harassment and retaliation. It was filed on behalf of four women, who alleged a farm manager sexually harassed them and retaliated to the three women who refused the advances, as well as the family members who worked with the farm company. Bornt and Sons and Barras a reacted to the reports of sexual harassment by sending the farm manager to work at another area, according to the lawsuit. According to the EEOC, a settlement has been reached, in which Bornt and Sons and Barrazas have agreed to pay $300,000, and reinstatement of the workers retaliated against.
