(Progress in Ferguson Fire)….The latest report indicates 25 percent containment.
The fire was first reported on July 13th in Maricopa County. The latest report indicates the fire has burned 36, 587 acres, so far. A Water Tanker along with a Fire Captain and a firefighter from Imperial County are among the over 3,000 firefighters combating the blaze. The report Tuesday indicates no civilian injuries or fatalities from that fire, however six firefighters have been injured combating the blaze and one firefighter has lost his life. Mandatory evacuations remain in effect. The fire is currently threatening 3,494 structures.
