The National Weather Service has some good news about Imperial Valley weather , the humidity will move on out.

The bad news , very hot weather will follow. The southerly flow that has brought the humidity will start to dissipate by the weekend. That said , the National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat Watch to begin Monday and continue at least through Wednesday of next week. NWS says temperatures in the Imperial , Mexicali and Yuma Valleys will range from 112 to 118 degrees.  Be aware of an increase in heat related illnesses for people exercising or working outdoors as well as vulnerable populations without access to adequate air conditioning.
