(June Election is officially over)…Certification documents were accepted by the Board of Supervisors.
Attention now turns to the next election. That is the Consolidated General Election on November 6th. The Registrar of Voters Office has released the candidate nomination information for the November election. There will be several special districts on the ballots. City Council races will be held in Calexico, Calipatria, Holtville and Imperial. Information on the Council races will be available at the respective City Clerk offices. Candidate information for the special districts is available at the County Registrar of Voters office in the Administration Building in El Centro. Prospective candidates can also call the Registrar’s office at 442-265-1060.
