(Getting ready for another election)…This one will not be put on the elections department.

The Public Administrator, Guardian, Conservator, Area Agency on Aging says they are looking for candidates to serve as the Imperial County State Senior Legislator. If you are 55 or over, involved and aware of senior issues in the local area. Driven to make a difference in the lives of aging Californians and willing to volunteer in representing the local community at the state level, you would qualify as a candidate. The California Senior Legislature is a non-partisan, grass roots body of 120 elected members 55 years of age and older, who serve as unpaid advocates. The CSI meets annually in a legislative session in the State Capital Building. To obtain an election packet, go to the California Senior Legislature website at www.4csi.org.
