(Adoption Extravaganza)…It will be Saturday at the Imperial Valley Mall.
It will be hosted by the Humane Society of Imperial County. The event starts at 11:00 am near the Food Court. They will have cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies available for adoption. They will also be kicking off their new campaign, From Surviving to Thriving. The campaign aims to improve the temporary living conditions for the animals in the Humane Societies care. The goal is to eventually build an entirely new shelter for the Imperial Valley’s homeless pets. The campaign will focus on increased community engagement and support to reach those goals. The Adoption Extravaganza will feature not only adoptable pets and the campaign kick-off, but also freebies, prizes, pet related vendors, and all kinds of fun.
