(Supervisors award the Medal of Merit)…The Medal is the highest honor presented by the County.
This week Jose L. Angel received the Medal of Merit. The Board of Supervisors said they presented the award to Angel to express their sincere appreciation for his dedication and commitment to public service, including service to improve the quality of life for residents in the County of Imperial. Angel has worked with the State Water Resources Control, later moving to the Colorado River Basin Regional Water Board, where he has served as Senior, Supervising and Principal engineer, assistant Executive Officer and Executive officer since 2015. He has been instrumental in New River developments and other water issues in Imperial County.
