(Major narcotics seizure)…It was reported late last week in San Luis.
Customs and Border Protection officers say they seized over $1.7 million worth of Methamphetamine and Heroin. The Narcotics were found during a routine inspection at the San Luis Port of Entry. While inspecting a vehicle, the officers discovered 30 pounds of heroin and 34 pounds of meth. The narcotics were wrapped in cellophane, bound by black electrical tape. The total street value placed on the narcotics was $1,7 million. CBP officers the driver of the searched vehicle. He was identified as Andy Camarillo, a resident of San Luis. Camarillo was turned over to Homeland Security investigators. Two other seizures of meth and heroin brought the total dollar amount of narcotics seized to $1,774,122.
