(Riverside woman arrested at prison)…The arrest came on Christmas Day.
39-year-old Lisa Salas Harper had gone to Calipatria State Prison to visit inmate Walter Harper. Staff at the prison say the woman appeared nervous. After watching her for a while, staff asked her if she had any contraband. She turned over four bindles. Two of the bindles contained 3.3 grams of heroin, valued at $1,650. The other two bindles contained 3 grams of methamphetamine, valued at $4,500. Officials say the evidence-linked inmate Harper to the crime. He was placed in the prison’s administrative segregation unit. Harper is serving time following a conviction of attempted murder. The woman was taken into custody, and booked into Imperial County Jail
