Thursday night game could mean another record

(Freeman could set another record)…He already has two CIF-San Diego Section records under his belt.

Royce Freeman and the Imperial Tigers football team will host Palo Verde in a special Thursday night game. It will be the final regular season game of the year. The Tigers could clinch the League title with a victory over the Yellow Jackets. Royce could break or at least tie the career points record. He is only 4 points away from the record. He has already broken the career rushing and career rushing touchdown records for the CIF-San Diego Section. Earlier this week Freeman was presented his jersey for the All American Bowl. He became one of the only Imperial County Football players selected to play in the All American Bowl. That game will be played January 4 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. Calexico and Southwest will also play their final game of the regular season tonight.
