The National Weather Service ( NWS ) says expect more heat this week.
The Imperial , Yuma and Mexicali Valleys will see temperatures climbing well above normal with about 110 on Wednesday and Thursday and up to 112 on Friday. Higher humidity and possible storm activity is possible mid-week in south - central Arizona but not in southeast California until Sunday. Night time temperatures will drop to the low 80's through the week.
