(County Supervisors hold 3 Public Hearings)….The Board met Tuesday morning.

Supervisor Ray Castillo did not attend the meeting. Supervisor Mike Kelley had to leave early. To ensure there would be at least 4 votes, the Board held the Public Hearings at the beginning of their public session. The first public hearing was to reaffirm the Commercial Cannabis Activity Taxes approved by voters during the June Primary Election. The approved taxes are 8% on gross receipts, 5% on Manufacture and cultivation at $15 per square foot, increasing in increments periodically. Public Hearings were also held for the Titan Solar 2 Project and the Laurel Cluster Solar Farm Projects. Both projects will be moving forward.
