Families have been able to use the High School swimming pool, and this year there is an agreement with Imperial Valley College for the use of their swimming facilities. Construction is set to begin on the new El Centro Aquatic Center is scheduled for June 25th. It will be built in the park, about two blocks from where the old Plunge was located.
