National Safety Telecommunications Week begins Sunday. The Calexico City Council declared the week for the border city. Emergency Services Dispatchers are the primary link between the public and emergency services personnel. Traditionally Emergency Dispatchers around the county are treated to a special luncheon during the National week, and are normally recognized by the County and communities around the Valley.
