An accident Monday morning caused the closure of Kalin Road between Boarts and Rutherford Roads.
The accident occurred at about 11:15 a.m. when a vehicle went out of control , ran off the road and knocked down a utility pole. One person suffered minor injuries in the crash but Kalin Road was closed for IID crews to make repairs. The road was expected to be closed for approximately six hours.
