Tiger Woods wins the British Open for his 11th major championship. Woods finished the open at 18-under for 270 winning by two strokes. This marked his first victory since his father, died with cancer. Most wondered whether Woods could regain his focus after taking time off, especially after the U.S. Open where he missed the cut for the first time in a major. Tiger's next stop is the PGA Championship at Medinah. |
