Calexico, California, October 17. Undergraduate students enrolled in San Diego State University-Imperial Valley's Psychology 452, “Introduction to Counseling and Therapy” will discuss definitions and statistics of sexual assault, how to protect and talk to children about sexual assault, and common signs and reactions of survivors of sexual assault.
 
Information about resources available to help survivors will be distributed. Everyone from the campus and community is invited to attend and discuss this important issue. The event will be held at the Calexico Campus in Rodney Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. and will be free and open to the public. Spanish/English interpretation will be provided.
