Calexico, California - The Golf Classic is an annual tournament staged by San Diego State University-Imperial Valley Campus as a scholarship fund-raiser. The importance of this event is paramount due to the need for scholarships where over 79% of our students receive some sort of financial assistance.

Businesses and organizations throughout the valley participate in the tournament and/or assist us with either sponsorships or donations. Our volunteers work tirelessly making sure everything runs smoothly the day of the event. Everyone involved plays a pivotal role in this most worthy cause making it a success! It brings together the community and makes it one of the best golf tournaments in southern California.

SDSU expects to raise $75,000.00 this Saturday. Team registration is $400.00 for a team of four. Or $125.000 if you register as a single player. Registration fee provides green fees, golf cart, breakfast, lunch prizes and much more. Trophies award to first, second and third place teams in both flights. Trophies also to be awarded for longest drive and closest to the pin.
