Earthquake Swarm Strikes Ocotillo PDF Print E-mail

(THEY WERE ROCKIN IN OCOTILLO LAST NIGHT, AND IT WAS FELT ALL THE WAY IN EL CENTRO)....A SMALL SWARM OF EARTHQUAKES BEGAN IN THE OCOTILLO AREA AT AROUND 5:30 THURSDAY EVENING. THE LARGEST, CONSIDERED A MINOR QUAKE, HIT AT 5:56.

IT WAS A MAGNITUDE 3.8, AND WAS CENTERED 9 MILES EAST/SOUTHEAST OF OCOTILLO. THERE ARE REPORTS OF IT BEING FELT IN EL CENTRO. NO DAMAGE OR INJURY WAS REPORTED FROM THAT OR FROM ANY OF THE OTHER 7 SMALL QUAKES REGISTERED IN THE SMALL SWARM THAT RUMBLED THRU THE DESERT. FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION VISIT.
