(Thousands expected at the Navy Base)….The Blue Angels kick off their 2010 season Saturday. Weather is expected to be in the upper 70’s with a little bit of a breeze. Conditions should be excellent for this year’s edition of the Naval Air Facility, El Centro Air Show. The Navies Ace flight demonstration team traditionally wraps up their three months of winter training at NAF with a large air show. Gates open Saturday at 8:00 am. The event is free to the public. The all day show will feature the Black Daggers, Silver Wings, Metal Mulisha and several other acts. There will be a large static display and a kids area. Food, novelty and information booths will also be available to the public. The Blue Angels are expected to take to the air at around 2:00 in the afternoon.
