(Teen hit by a car)…The 17 year old was injured. The boy’s identity was not released. The incident was reported early Sunday morning. Police investigating the incident say the teen is suspected to have been under the influence at the time of the incident. They say the teen walked directly into the path of a vehicle on Adams Avenue, at Sixth Street. The officers say the motorist could not avoid striking the teen. The 17 year old was transported to El Centro Regional Medical Center for treatment. The driver, who was not identified, was not injured. |
