(Brawley is looking for public input)…The City is developing plans for downtown renovation. The City will be hosting a Downtown Overlay Specific Plan Community Workshop. An optional walk of the Downtown area will be gin at 7:30 Saturday morning, beginning at the City Administration Building at 383 Main Street. The workshop starts at 8:30 in the morning February 13, with check-in and a light breakfast, at the Del Rio Community Center, at 1501 “I” Street. Residents are encouraged to attend and provide their visions for Downtown and ideas for buildings, streets and public spaces.
