(BUHS Band Director Commission’s special piece of music)….The piece was put together by renowned composer Robert Sheldon.

Brawley Union High School Band Director Amy Jo Dailey asked her friend Robert Sheldon to write a piece that highlights Imperial County energy resources. Dailey says she came up with the idea to recognize the Valleys potential in becoming the nation’s center of renewable energy. The piece, Power The Earth, will be conducted by Sheldon at the BUHS concert on Monday, February 22, at 7:00 pm in the New Gym at Brawley Union High School. Admission is free. The performing ensemble will be made up of players from both BUHS and Central Union High School.
