KXO RADIO - 38 year old arrested in Calexico

(Man stopped for traffic violation. Arrested for a lot more)….The traffic stop was made by Calexico Police Officer Frazier in the 700 block of Paulin. The officer reportedly spotted the driver using a cell phone while driving. Once the vehicle was stopped, the officer noticed the driver begin to shake noticeably. Dispatch informed the officer that the driver, 38-year-old Abraham Trujillo, had an outstanding warrant for driving under the influence. Frazier placed the driver under arrest, then used his narcotic detection k-9 to search the vehicle. The dog alerted to the right rear seat. The officer opened a backpack and found a pound of methamphetamine. Trujillo was charged with drug possession and booked into County Jail.
