| Baja to accept thousands of old tires |

(Solution for discarded tire problem)…Old tires thrown along roadways or other areas have been a problem in Imperial County for years. There may be at least a partial solution. The Government in Baja California said this week they would allow the importation of 585,300 used tires this year. There are some regulations surrounding the importation and it is strongly recommended anyone wishing to import old tires get in touch with the Mexican Customs service before trying to cross a load of old tires. |
