Brawley Police Arrest Three For Car Theft And One For Burglary.

Brawley Police officers checked out a car in a Main Street back alley and found it was stolen from El Centro. According to Commander Brett Houser of the Brawley Police Department , an officer checked the car at about 8:00 p.m. Tuesday. The car was in the north alley of Main Street in Brawley. The three occupants of the car fled in separate directions but were apprehended by Brawley Police officers. The car had been reported stolen from El Centro earlier Tuesday. Three men were booked into Imperial County Jail on charges of possession of stolen property. They were identified as 19-year old Brian Perez ; 18-year old Jorge Ibarra and 18-year old Jose Saldana , all from El Centro. At about 11:45 p.m. that evening Brawley Police responded to a report of a burglary in progress in the 1300 block of 'I' Street. Officers found 39-year old Johnny Rubio of Brawley inside a storage structure on the property. He was arrested and booked into Imperial County Jail for Burglary.
