(El Centro has a new Mayor)…The City Council held their reorganization Ceremonies Tuesday night. Out-going Mayor Ben Solomon handed the gavel over to Cheryl Viegas-Walker. At the special meeting, the City Council followed the normal process, choosing the Mayor Pro-Tem as their new Mayor. Councilman Efrain Silva was named Mayor Pro-Tem. The Council recognized Solomon for his year as Mayor, and then celebrated the reorganization. |
