(Holiday Season kicks in this week)…The shopping season began with the Thanksgiving Day Holiday weekend. This weekend everybody gets into the Holiday spirit. Friday evening the NAF Parade of Lights will be held at the Base. On Saturday the 64^th Annual Los Vigilantes and El Centro Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau Christmas Parade will be held. The Parade this year begins at 12 noon. The theme this year is “Home for the Holidays.” Following the Parade, El Centro will host their Tamale Fiesta and Seasonal Tree Lighting. The event will be held beginning at 2:00 pm and end with the Tree Lighting at 6:00 pm. It will be held at the El Centro Police Department, 11^th and Main in El Centro. Also, Saturday, Pioneers Museum and Cultural Center will present the 18^th Annual Holiday Tour Around the World. That event starts at 6:00 pm. Cost is $7.00 for adults and $3.00 for children under 8. The Museum is located on Aten Road, across from Imperial Valley College.
