(23-year-old San Dimas man identified)…The County Coroners Office says Nicholas Mollard died Saturday. The California Highway Patrol reports Mollard was riding a quad all terrain vehicle at the time of his death. He was riding at the Glamis Dunes, just east of Gecko loop. Mollard reportedly went up a dune, but was unaware of a 60-foot drop down the other side. The quad went out of control. The CHP says the 23-year-old was ejected, and suffered fatal injuries. The tragedy was reported at 2:45 Saturday afternoon. Mollard was pronounced dead at the scene. |
