| Two Die In Separate Off Road Accidents |

| The Imperial County Coroners Office is investigating two separate off-road accidents that claimed two lives Saturday. The first accident was reported at 10;06 a.m. Saturday along Gordens Well Road just north of Interstate 8. The Bureau of Land Management ( BLM ) , Imperial County Sheriffs Department, Yuma's Rural Metro Fire , REACH helicopter and the County Coroners Office all responded to the incident. The 43-year old victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The second accident occurred in the Glamis area near Gecko Road and the First Loop. Initial reports indicate that a motorcycle went out of control and rolled causing fatal injuries to the rider who was pronounced dead at the scene. Both accidents remain under investigation and no further information is available at this time. |
