KPBS Kids show coming to SDSU/IV Saturday

(The Electric Company is coming to Calexico)…The Shows Outreach Tour will be at San Diego State University/Imperial Valley Campus Saturday afternoon. The tour is an extension of the Daily show that airs on KPBS. The 90-minute multi-media experience will be held at Rodney Auditorium beginning at 2:00 pm. Doors open at 1:00 pm. The Show will feature Shock and will engage children with activities, educational material, and free giveaways. The show invites kids into a world where reading is hip. The event is part of public television and SDSU/IV efforts to combat America’s Literacy crisis. The Calexico Campus is located at 720 Heber Avenue in Calexico.
