(Veterans Honored Wednesday)…Ceremonies were held all across the County on Veterans Day. Assemblyman Manuel Perez attended events at both ends of the County. The 80^th District Assemblyman was on hand for the services at the Veteran’s Memorial Wall at the City Hall in Calexico. Perez also attended the groundbreaking ceremonies and services for the Veteran’s Memorial Wall in Brawley. The Brawley Wall will be constructed next to the City Administration Building on Main Street. The five granite walls in Brawley will have the names of current and former Brawley residents who have or are serving in the U.S. Military. Dedication Ceremonies for the Memorial Wall in Brawley is scheduled for Veteran’s Day 2010.
