(Two minor quakes reported)…The first quake hit at 8:15 Sunday evening about 9 miles West/Southwest of Calexico. The second minor earthquake struck at 10:19 Monday morning. The second quake was centered about 9 miles Southwest of Heber. The U.S. Geological Survey says both quakes measured 3.0. Other than a few rattled nerves, there was no damage or injury reported from either incident. |
