Brawley Chamber to wait before hiring new Executive Director

(Search for Executive Director to begin in January)….The Brawley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors made that decision at their meeting this week. It was agreed to wait until after the Cattle Call and Holidays before they begin looking for a new Chamber Executive Director. Nicole Gilles was fired from the position recently after serving the Chamber for 11 years. No reason was ever given for the dismissal, other than a statement that the Chamber was moving to another direction. The Board named Sheila Riley to serve as the interim Executive Director until the position is filled. Riley is also the Office Manager for the Chamber.
