Man assaulted in Brawley

(Two arrested in Brawley)…Police Commander Brett Houser says the victim identified his assailants. Houser said the victim was approached by two Hispanic males. One of the suspects brandished a knife and demanded the victims “stuff”. The victim told the men he did not have anything, and left the scene. Houser says the suspects followed the victim to his house. The victim called police, and the suspects fled. The Commander says officers obtained a description of the two, and promptly found them. The victim identified the suspects and they were taken into custody. Arrested were 22-year-old Manuel Gallegos of Brawley, who was on active parole for robbery, and 28-year-old Orlando Urias. Both were booked into County Jail.
