(Royalty in place for Cattle Call)….The Queens for this year’s event were chosen over the weekend.

There are now multiple Queens for Cattle Call. Kaylinn Sampson was crowned Cattle Call Queen during ceremonies Saturday evening at the Cattle Call Park. Sampson is a 17-year-old honor student at Southwest High School in El Centro. She is a junior at the School. Chosen as First Princess was 16-year-old Reilly McFaddin. MCFaddin is also a junior at Southwest High School. Named Teen Queen for Cattle Call was 14-year-old Chelsea Webster, a freshman at Central Union High School. Twelve-year-old Anna Archer was named Junior Queen Saturday. Anna is a student at Barbara Worth Junior High School in Brawley. The young ladies will reign over this year’s Cattle Call events, including the Rodeo November 14 and 15. Now that the Queen’s are in place, the next major Cattle Call event is the 20th annual Chili Cook-off November 7 at the Cattle Call Arena.
