(Seasonal Flu clinic Saturday)…The first of the October Vaccination clinics will be held at the IV Mall.

The Clinic will start at 8:00 am in the Food Court. The cost is $2.00. Clinics have also been scheduled for Calexico and Brawley this month. Imperial County Public Health Officer Doctor Stephen Munday says it is recommended as many as possible receive the seasonal flu shot, as well as the Vaccination for the H1N1 virus. He says the inter-nasal H1N1 vaccine is expected to arrive in Imperial County next week. Munday says the inter-nasal dose will be used for children below the age of 10. The regular H1N1 vaccine is expected to arrive in Imperial County in late October or early November. Once it arrives, vaccination clinics for that virus will be scheduled by the Health Department.
