(Mayor Louis Fuentes to turn over his gavel)…The Calexico City Council to reorganize. The Council is holding a reorganization Mixer Tuesday evening. The mixer will be held at the Calexico Cultural Arts Center, beginning at 7:00 pm. It is being hosted by the Calexico Chamber of Commerce. To RSVP call the Chamber at 357-1166. The Council will name a new Mayor and Mayor Pro-tem. While most Councils reorganize on a calendar year, the Calexico City Council reorganizes on a fiscal calendar. |
