(Town Hall meeting to discuss Richard Horn)…The sexually violent predator was placed in Imperial County in 2007. After a bit of controversy, Horn was finally placed in the Dixieland area near Seeley. He now wants to move near Brawley. He has purchased a home on Weaver Road. The Town Hall meeting will update the public on Horn’s current status, Court actions against him and his proposed move. Representatives from the District Attorney’s Office will participate in the meeting. The Town Hall meeting will be held Monday June 29, in the training room at the Brawley Cal Works, 860 Main Street in Brawley. The meeting begins at 5:15 in the evening. Horn’s relocation petition will be discussed by the Fresno Superior Court on July 10. Those wishing to comment on that hearing and petition will be given the appropriate information at the Town Hall meeting.
