| El Centro Police arrested a 29-year old man on forgery and burglary related charges. Gary Clapp, Jr of El Centro , was booked into Imperial County Jail after he was identified by several business owners as being involved in passing counterfeit $100.00 bills recently The El Centro Police Department is asking any local businesses that have recent experience with people passing the bogus U.S. currency to contact Detective Tony Hernandez at 760 - 337 - 4525. The investigation involving Clapp's arrest is ongoing. |
