(24-year-old El Centro man stabbed)….El Centro police were called to El Centro Regional Medical Center at around 1:00 am Sunday. At the hospital, police found the 24 year old with two stab wounds. One to the face and the other to his arm. Commander Ron Meredith says the man told police he was driving on El Dorado, near 8^th Street when he spotted a bicycle in the middle of the roadway. The man said he stopped his vehicle to remove the bike. When he got out of his car, he was attacked by a knife wielding man, who stabbed him twice. The victim could not identify his attacker. Meredith says the victim’s identity is not being released at this time. He said the investigation is continuing.
