The 18th Ranked Arizona Western College Lady Matadors' Volleyball team (10-1) won their 9th straight match, they swept Mesa Community College (2-4) in straight games 30-24, 30-23, and 30-23. The Lady Mats were led by Ana Bauer (11) and Patty Paniagua (9), in kills.
AWC Head Coach Jason Smith stated, “We came out flat tonight, but we persevered as a team and still won in 3 games. We will have to play better to win later this weekend.”
