The Arizona Western College Lady Matadors softball team (11-6) dropped their first game of the Snow College Classic in St. George, Utah, then came back to win the final two contests of the day.
AWC lost to Salt Lake College 3-0 in the first game, then defeated Southern Idaho College 4-0, then they finnished the day whipping the host Snow College 8-0. Matador head coach Pam Stone stated, “We’re still getting off to slow starts, but as the day goes on, we seem to gather momentum. We’re still tinkering with our lineup, though, because we’re still trying to find the right combination.” AWC’s Next Game: vs. Southern Idaho Saturday 9AM (Snow College Classic-St. George, UT) |
