For thye second time this month the Arizona Western College Lady Matador softball team (27-20) split a doubleheader with 2nd ranked Pima Community College (40-8) by the scores of 4-0 and 0-6 today at Pima College.
AWC head coach Pam Stone stated, “For us to come out and dominate the defending champions like we did in Game 1 is a great thing, and I’m proud of them for that. Now we just need to work on being able to play the whole doubleheader well.” AWC’s Next Game: vs. South Mountain DH Saturday Noon (AWC Softball Field) |
