The 21st ranked Arizona Western College Lady Matadors softball team (14-8) swept a doubleheader from Chandler/Gilbert Community College (5-11-1) by the scores of 6-2 and 5-1.
Matador head coach Pam Stone stated, “We’re still working on playing ‘complete’ softball, but today was a good day. We were shorthanded because of the disciplinary actions, and we had some kids really step up in their absence.” AWC’s Next Game: vs. (5) Central Arizona, Saturday Noon (AWC SB Field) |
